DER TANZ MIT AITHER I / DANCE WITH AETHER I

is the 7th part of 12 of the project "The power of the Heights command: DURCHFLUTUNG und DER WEISSE STEIN",
a seven hour film by the artist Rita Grosse-Ruyken

When DURCHFLUTUNG engages in the Dance With Aether,
the incredible phenomena of the vessel is observed.
Elements give taunting breath across the golden bowl,
bending and folding the metal until we doubt its solidity.
New shapes and forms within the sculpture are revealed for the first time.
At one point the artist intervenes between the dance of the elements and DURCHFLUTUNG
by shielding the chalice with her body and kneeling,
head bent waits for the moment for DURCHFLUTUNG to open again.

Passion and fire of the dance go to a uttermost courage
by joining in the elements vital energy.
The drama ends transformed into a new dimension of reality
grounded by greenery and the aurora of the new morning.

The mutable qualities of matter are realised in this film.
DURCHFLUTUNG flowers in these images,
opening and closing in a stunning display
that previously seemed impossible.
The viewers may unlock in themselves a geometric epiphany,
or draw similarities to other undulations in the natural world and mechanics within.

Following intuition the artist found and researched for DURCHFLUTUNG
culminating in a timeless shape whose pure gold illuminates and informs.

Après avoir vibré au contact des quatre principaux éléments,
DURCHFLUTUNG entre en contact avec un élément plus subtil : l'éther.
Naturellement la prêtresse de la Lumière
se meut dans le monde de la matière portant avec Amour le calice.

Et, tout à coup, au contact de l'éther et de l'air,
le calice semble aller et venir, respirer, onduler et fusionner
avec ces deux éléments au mouvement si rapide
et en contraste permanent avec l'architecture de la roche.
Sons des vagues et son du DURCHFLUTUNG unis.
Deux œuvres et deux mondes si différents
régis par les mêmes Lois afin
d'apporter au monde la Beauté dans sa Simplicité Vraie.
Au risque de se briser,
le DURCHFLUTUNG poursuit sa route,
mais quel chemin de valeur sans don de soi?
